The Ohio State University
I am a social psychologist and post-doc at the Ohio State University. Starting fall 2019, I will be an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Florida. I study boredom, interest, and why some thoughts are more engaging than others. I'm particularly interested in applying my model of boredom to the experience of thinking, and understanding when and why we enjoy (or do not enjoy!) our own thoughts. I want to understand what boredom is, why we experience it, and what happens when we do.
